Helper Shahbad Society was formally constituted on January 28, 2010 (Registration No: 90 / 01503 under Haryana Societies Act No. 1 of 2012) by compassionate citizens and community leaders in Shahbad Markanda, District Kurukshetra, Haryana.
Strategically situated on the high-density Grand Trunk Road (National Highway 44)—approximately 180 km from New Delhi and 280 km from Amritsar—our town frequently witnessed severe vehicular collisions. Seeing accident victims lose precious time before reaching specialized trauma care, our volunteers instituted a round-the-clock emergency rescue corridor.
Over fifteen years, the scope of our Sewa expanded organically. Today, Helper Shahbad Society operates a full 6-vehicle fleet, a community food van serving two daily hospital meals, an all-season Night Shelter (Rain Basera), and regular blood drives with PGIMER Chandigarh.
Verified operational milestones delivered across GT Road, Kurukshetra, and Ambala.
Four interconnected lifelines delivering compassionate, zero-cost support to every vulnerable individual.
Immediate zero-cost ambulance dispatch, emergency on-site triage, and rapid transit to Civil Hospital Shahabad and tertiary trauma centers at PGIMER Chandigarh.
Freshly cooked, hygienic, wholesome meals prepared in our community kitchen and distributed directly to patients, hospital attendants, and needy families.
Quarterly high-capacity voluntary blood donation camps conducted in direct coordination with PGIMER Chandigarh, Rotary Blood Bank, and LNJP Hospital Kurukshetra.
Dignified last rites according to sacred religious customs for unclaimed, destitute, and accident victims, ensuring every departed soul leaves this world with reverence.
From a single ambulance on the highway to a multi-wing community institution serving North India.
Formally registered under Haryana Societies Registration Act (Reg. No. 90 / 01503) and launched our first 24/7 highway emergency trauma ambulance on GT Road NH-44.
Inaugurated the dedicated community kitchen and customized mobile food van to provide 2 free nutritious hot meals daily at Civil Hospital Shahabad.
Initiated the sacred mission of conducting dignified Vedic last rites and holy Haridwar Ganga Asthi Visarjan for unclaimed deceased across Kurukshetra and Ambala.
Opened our permanent 24/7 shelter facility opposite Civil Hospital providing warm bedding, security, and clean sanitation for destitute individuals and travelers.
Granted official FCRA Registration No. 172320014 by Ministry of Home Affairs, authorizing global Philanthropists and NRIs to support our initiatives directly.
Expanding our emergency ambulance fleet to 8 vehicles and upgrading trauma life-support equipment to support underprivileged rural families.
