In the Helper Building opposite Civil Hospital, a permanent Community Kitchen (Langar) free of charge for needy people, patients, and their relatives was established in the year 2015 to ensure no one in our town goes to sleep hungry.
In the year 2018, our society launched a customized Food Van that arranges and serves fresh, hygienic hot meals two times a day across different hospitals of the city—including Civil Hospital Shahabad and Adesh Hospital. Attendants traveling from distant villages who cannot afford canteen meals receive warm nutritious food right outside the hospital gates.
During the unprecedented crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic and national lockdowns, our Community Kitchen scaled up into a 24/7 disaster relief hub, cooking and distributing packed meals to over 3,000+ migrant workers, stranded truck drivers, and poor families daily across the National Highway.
